I’m Wena McLelland, an international best-selling author, Trauma-Informed Intuitive Coach, and the founder of Soul Sanctuary. Over the years, I’ve guided countless high-achieving women and men in navigating the hidden wounds that keep them striving but never fully feeling free. My work blends trauma-informed coaching with spiritual guidance, creating a grounded yet soulful approach to transformation.

For much of my own journey, I lived in the cycle of overachievement—chasing success, proving my worth, and carrying silent wounds that no one could see. Even when I reached milestones that looked impressive on the outside, I felt disconnected from myself on the inside. It wasn’t until I began peeling back the layers of unprocessed trauma and deeply held beliefs that I found what I had been searching for all along: my true self.

Why I Created Inner Compass

I created Inner Compass because I know how heavy it feels to always “do more” yet still feel like it’s never enough. High achievers often carry hidden wounds—stories of not being worthy, safe, or loved—that drive them forward but quietly hold them back from the life they truly desire.
